We interview in India and other countries including EEC nations after receiving your applications. We check your English by telephonic Interview .English should be very good at ielts 6 or more. All the nurses have quantified qualifications that are sent to the NMC, Should NMC approve the nurses and issue an invitation to take training we then put the nurses on our database and send there CV's to different nursing homes. We then arrange all Visas and flights to the nearest airport and the nurses usually arrive 2 weeks after getting their work permit to UK.
You obviously need to find local accommodation for the nurses and set this up for them. They will pick up the cost and we suggest that being two together so it is affordable as well as company for each other. The training of the nurses is supervised by the mentor, but you do need an accredited training organisation to do this as well. We use the Mimosa Health Training Group. They of course charge for their services but their costs are passed back to the nurses.
Qualified nurses
SLR overseas is able to supply overseas pre-registered nurses to qualify and achieve their NMC PIN numbers. Initially the nurses will work in care home as care assistants whilst training is being delivered. The training at your care home is through our accredited, recommended and independent training associate.
Overseas pre-registered student nurses are accredited as fully qualified nurses in their own country of origin. They work beside you as care assistants only for their supervisory training period up to achieving their NMC pin number.
We currently have a bank of qualified nurses with their pin numbers available for work immediately.
